I tend to change gym bags frequently. Most of the time I change because I find something cuter or with better features. Sometimes I change because my old bag is falling apart. I’ve been wanting a backpack-style gym bag for some time and was delighted to catch a sale from Fitmark Bags. I am particularly in love with their meal prep bags, but that’ll be another review.
As with all of my reviews, this one is not solicited, and I get nothing in return (although I am open to offers….)
Because I like to make last-minute decisions about my fitness classes, I need to have all of my gym gear in one place. I have some smaller bags which I adore but aren’t good for toting lifting shoes, much less a leather belt. I have larger bags which hold everything but don’t have great organization. The Endurance backpack has everything I need: space and organization.
When I first opened it, I was surprised by the size. It looked much bigger in person than online. I was worried that it was going to be too large and cumbersome, but it’s been quite manageable, and it fits inside standard gym lockers.
The bag comes with a drawstring bag for dirty clothes and/or shoes. I decided to use the bag for my lifting shoes.
All of this smelliness gets it’s own compartment: the large section in the back. The section is big enough for me to also pack my lifting belt.
The next section holds my smaller essentials: jump rope, bandana, toiletries, ShowerPill athletic body wipes, socks, towel, wrist phone holder, and lunch bag- also by Fitmark. (I’m trying to get away from eating protein bars all the time, so I’ve started packing cheese sticks, apple slices and turkey slices for a post-workout snack.)
There are three zippered compartments in the front. The top holds my gym pass, lock, organic lip balm, bluetooth earbuds and keys.
The middle holds quick-grab items. Deodorant, wipes, mirror, and pain relieving ointment.
The bottom compartment is where I put my phone.
Did I mentioned that the bag is lined with inspiration messages??
All packed and ready for any workout: ClassPass, Crossfit, powerlifting, you name it.
I’m too fickle to say that I won’t be tempted by any other fitness bags, but for now, I’ve found the perfect bag for my current needs. Fitmark bags aren’t cheap, but if you follow them on Instagram, you’ll be the first to know about their frequent special offers.
